The Onslow County NC Pre-K Committee brings together educators, families, and community partners to guide the local NC Pre-K program, from policies and planning to program oversight.
About the committee
Every North Carolina county that provides NC Pre-K services establishes and maintains a County NC Pre-K Committee. One Place is proud to lead this work for Onslow County.
Develops the operational policies and procedures for the local NC Pre-K program.
Ensures collaboration and shared responsibility for developing, approving, and carrying out the county plan for NC Pre-K services.
Provides oversight for the local program so every eligible 4-year-old has access to a high-quality pre-kindergarten experience.
Meeting schedule
Meetings are held in person at One Place, SECU Hope Center, 1200 Commons Drive N, Jacksonville, from noon to 1:30pm. Virtual attendance is available upon request.
