Please note: Participants are required to complete 1.5 hours of independent coursework.

This course is designed to promote safe play areas for children in childcare. Participants will learn about potential hazards and how to make childcare play areas safe for children. Participants will take part in small group activities, use audit equipment, review playground monthly checklists, and participate in a playground audit. The instructor will appraise knowledge gained during the off-site playground safety audit.
