This training provides an in-depth overview of the Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition (ITERS-3), which became the official assessment tool for North Carolina childcare licensing on February 1, 2025. Participants will learn key components of ITERS-3, including its focus on responsive caregiving, language development, and developmentally appropriate environments. The course will equip educators with practical strategies to enhance infant and toddler care, improve daily routines, and meet updated quality standards. Through interactive discussions and real-world applications, attendees will gain the skills needed to create high-quality, engaging, and nurturing early learning environments.
