This course is designed to provide the learner with a thorough overview of SACERS-U, equipping the learner with the tools and knowledge to make meaningful changes in their classrooms. Participants will learn to interpret essential SACERS-U terminology, engage in hands-on activities where they practice scoring various SACERS-U scenarios, review proper handwashing and table cleaning procedures, and dive into each subscale of SACERS-U, gaining a comprehensive understanding of all its components. By the end of this course, participants will be able to define, illustrate, and apply the knowledge gained within their school-age programs, making a tangible difference in the quality of care they provide.
