This training provides early childhood educators with a comprehensive understanding of the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition (ECERS-3), which became the official assessment tool for North Carolina childcare licensing on February 1, 2025. Participants will explore the key components of ECERS-3, including its emphasis on teacher-child interactions, language development, and individualized learning opportunities. The training will cover strategies for improving classroom environments, enhancing instructional practices, and meeting quality rating requirements. Educators will gain practical knowledge on implementing ECERS-3 standards to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning spaces that foster positive outcomes for young children. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and real-world examples, attendees will leave with actionable steps to enhance their early learning programs.
